Full description and specifications

The 2026 A24i jumps from 100Hz to 144Hz and costs R200 less than the model it replaces, which almost never happens.

Quick Specs

  • 24" 1920 x 1080 IPS panel
  • 144Hz refresh rate
  • 6ms response time
  • Flat, 16:9
  • 2 year warranty

The pricing here is worth pointing out

This sits at R2 099 against R2 299 for the 2024 A24i, and it runs 144Hz where that one runs 100Hz. There is no catch in the panel technology: both are IPS, both are 1080p at 24 inches, both quote a 6ms response. Unless you specifically want the 2024 chassis to match screens you already own, this is the version to buy. The older unit stays listed because it is fully specified down to the port list and the box contents, which some buyers in corporate procurement need on paper before they order.

What 144Hz does and does not buy you

On a work screen the gain is in scrolling and cursor movement, not in games. The 6ms response time is the giveaway: pixels take longer to change than the frame interval at 144Hz, so fast game motion will still smear and this is not a substitute for the G24i 2026 at 200Hz and 1ms. What it is good at is long days of text. Pair it with 1080p at 24 inches, which keeps pixel density near 93 per inch, and you get a screen that is sharp and easy to read without any Windows scaling.

  • IPS panel for consistent colour off-axis
  • 1080p at 24", sharp without display scaling
  • 6ms response time
  • Priced below the model it supersedes

Questions

Before you buy

What do I need to run it at its full refresh rate?
To reach 144Hz at 1920 x 1080 you need a graphics card able to output that mode, a cable that supports it, and the refresh rate selected in Windows display settings - monitors often default to 60Hz out of the box. The ports on this panel are listed under Specifications above.
What sort of panel is it?
It is IPS with a 6ms response time. Panel type is the main thing that decides how a monitor looks off-centre and how it handles colour and contrast, so it is worth weighing against refresh rate rather than choosing on the headline number alone.
Can I wall-mount it or put it on an arm?
This is a 24.0 inch panel. Whether it takes a VESA mount, and at which spacing, is listed under Specifications - if a VESA size is shown there, any arm or bracket rated for that pattern and the monitor’s weight will fit. If you are not sure, send us the model of your arm and we will check.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
Yes - this one is in stock. Order before 12:00 on a working day and it ships the same day; after that it goes out the next working day. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday, so an order placed over a weekend or a public holiday ships on the next working day.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
