Three connection modes and a Pixart PAW3104 sensor for R319 — wireless gaming without the usual wireless compromise.
Quick Specs
- Pixart PAW3104 optical sensor, 100 to 8000 DPI
- Three modes: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless and wired
- 1000Hz polling rate in dual mode
- 7 programmable buttons including 2 side macros
- Up to 35 hours battery life, customisable RGB backlighting
Wireless that polls like a wired mouse
The number that separates a real wireless gaming mouse from a cheap cordless one is the polling rate, and the Trident Pro reports at 1000Hz — a thousand position updates a second, the same as a wired mouse and double what budget wireless models manage. The 2.4GHz nano receiver handles gaming duty; Bluetooth is there for a laptop or tablet where a spare USB port is precious; and the wired mode keeps you playing while the battery refills. Thirty-five hours between charges means realistically you charge it once a week.
A named sensor and buttons where you need them
The Pixart PAW3104 is a known quantity rather than an unbranded optical, and its 100–8000 DPI range covers everything from precise sniper work to fast desktop navigation across a high-resolution display. Seven programmable buttons include two side macros within thumb reach, which is the right layout for shooters and action games — enough for a ping, a grenade and a push-to-talk without an MMO button grid. Customisable RGB lets you match the rest of the build, and it can be switched off entirely to stretch the battery further.
