Light, and light in the right places
The Storm is Redragon's lightweight design: a cutout honeycomb shell under a frosted finish that brings it to 85g without feeling flimsy. Two details make the weight count. First the shape is ambidextrous rather than sculpted for the right hand, so left-handed players finally get a proper option and claw-grip players get a symmetrical shell to pinch. Second the cable is a no-drag weave rather than standard rubber, which stops the cord pulling against your aim — the thing that usually ruins a light mouse in practice.
Tune the polling rate, not just the DPI
Most mice at this price lock you to 1000Hz or leave it unstated. The Storm lets you set 125, 250, 500 or 1000Hz, which is useful if you are running an older machine where a flood of USB reports costs frames. The five DPI steps top out at 6200 by default with a 12400 ceiling available, and 220 IPS means the sensor keeps tracking through fast sweeps. All seven buttons are fully rebindable with macro support. This is the white version; the black M808 is the same mouse at the same R349 if white peripherals are not your thing.
