Button count is the whole argument
Most mice at this price give you six buttons. The Predator gives you eleven, and that changes what you can play comfortably. An MMO rotation, a build order in an RTS, or a stack of Photoshop shortcuts all fit on the mouse instead of the keyboard. The dedicated rapid-fire button fires repeated clicks while held, which is genuinely useful in games that reward it and worth knowing about in competitive titles where such things are sometimes frowned upon. Everything is bindable in software, so you can also just ignore the extras and use it as a normal five-button mouse.
An ergonomic shell built for palm grip
The Predator is a full-size ergonomic shape that suits palm grip and larger hands — if you have small hands or pinch the mouse, the lighter Naga M730 will suit you better. The frosted coating keeps fingerprints off and stays comfortable over long sessions, and the rubber texture on the left flank gives the thumb grip for lifting and repositioning. The default 4000 DPI ceiling is modest on paper, but a free software update takes it to 8000, which is more than enough for anything short of a 4K display at very low sensitivity.
