The cheapest way into a hot-swappable 60% board, in white, with a detachable cable so it travels flat.
Quick Specs
- 61 keys, 60% layout
- Hot-swappable switch sockets
- Wired, detachable USB Type-C cable
- Up to 13 preset backlighting styles
- Spill-resistant construction
Living without arrow keys
A 60% board drops the function row, the numpad and the arrow cluster. Those keys move to an Fn layer, so nothing is truly gone, but your muscle memory is. Expect a fortnight of mis-presses before it clicks. What you get back is a tiny footprint: this board and a mouse fit on a shelf, and there is room to swing the mouse at low sensitivity. If your day involves spreadsheets, invoicing or arrow-heavy editing, buy a 65% instead and keep the arrows.
Hot-swap at this price
The sockets take replacement switches without soldering, which is unusual under R600. That turns a budget board into something you can grow with: start on what it ships with, and if the feel is wrong, buy a set of switches rather than another keyboard. The cable detaches at the board, so it packs flat in a laptop bag and you can replace the cable if it frays rather than binning the whole thing. The white finish shows dust more than black does.

Why Redragon?
Redragon put hot-swap sockets on an entry-level 60% board years before the rest of the market followed, which is why the Dragonborn is still a common first mechanical keyboard here. Every Redragon keyboard we stock is covered by a local 18-month warranty.
