Who it suits
This 16GB module suits DDR4 laptops whose maximum supported memory speed is 2666MHz, where a faster module would just run at 2666MHz anyway. 16GB in one stick is a comfortable amount for multitasking, light photo editing and gaming on laptops with a dedicated GPU. If your laptop supports 3200MHz, a 3200MHz module is the better match, because adding a 2666MHz stick next to a 3200MHz one drops both to 2666MHz. Check compatibility before you order
This is a 260-pin DDR4 SO-DIMM for laptops and it will not fit a desktop motherboard. DDR3, DDR4 and DDR5 are keyed differently and are not interchangeable, so confirm your laptop takes DDR4 SO-DIMM. Many thin laptops have some or all of their memory soldered to the board with no free slot, so check your manual or open the base cover first. Also check the maximum capacity per slot and the maximum memory speed your laptop supports; a module faster than the laptop allows normally runs at the slower supported speed.
