Proper yoke control for civil flight sims
If you mostly fly airliners or light aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane or Prepar3D, a joystick never feels quite right. This yoke gives you push-pull elevator and turn-to-bank aileron on a stainless steel shaft with precision bearings, so small corrections on approach are easier to hold. The throttle quadrant has three detachable levers with detents for idle and reverse, so you can map throttle, prop and mixture, or twin-engine throttles. A three-position mode switch cycles through three profiles, which gives up to 75 assignable controls once you set it up in the software.
What to check before you buy
This is a desk-clamp system, so you need a desk edge thick enough for the clamps and roughly 46cm of width for the yoke alone. It's PC only (Windows), and some sims need Logitech's plug-in from the support site for full button mapping. There are no rudder pedals included, so for coordinated turns you'll want pedals or an auto-rudder setting. Fighter and space-sim players are better off with a HOTAS. The upside of the modular design is that extra throttle quadrants and Logitech G instrument panels can be added later and stacked alongside.
