180Hz on a 23.8-inch IPS panel is the size where 1080p still looks sharp instead of stretched.
Quick Specs
- 23.8" IPS panel, 1920 x 1080 Full HD, flat
- 180Hz refresh rate, 1ms GtG (Faster mode)
- 300 cd/m² brightness, 1000:1 contrast, 99% sRGB
- AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, HDR10 input
- 1x HDMI 2.0, 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 3.5mm headphone out
Why 23.8 inches is the right home for 1080p
Pixel density is the quiet reason this panel looks better than a cheap 27" Full HD screen. Spreading 1920 x 1080 over 23.8 inches keeps text edges clean and game textures tight at normal desk distance. Stretch the same pixel count to 27 inches and everything softens. If you want a bigger screen, you want more pixels with it, not the same ones magnified. This is also the resolution most mid-range graphics cards can actually push near 180fps, which is the whole point of buying a 180Hz display in the first place.
What 180Hz asks of your PC
A high refresh rate only pays off when your graphics card can feed it. In competitive titles at 1080p, that is realistic on modern mid-range hardware. In heavy single-player games with the settings turned up, you will land well below 180fps, and that is where FreeSync and G-SYNC Compatible matter more than the headline number: they sync the panel to whatever framerate you get, so tearing and stutter disappear instead of the frames arriving out of step. The IPS panel also holds colour and contrast when you look at it off-centre, which cheaper TN gaming screens do not.
FEATURES:
- IPS panel with 178° viewing angles and 99% sRGB coverage, factory colour calibrated
- Adaptive sync from both camps: AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible
- Black Stabilizer lifts shadow detail in dark corners of a map
- Dynamic Action Sync, Crosshair overlay and an on-screen FPS counter
- Three-side virtually borderless design for multi-monitor setups

Questions
Before you buy
What do I need to run it at its full refresh rate?
To reach 180Hz at 1920 x 1080 you need a graphics card able to output that mode, a cable that supports it, and the refresh rate selected in Windows display settings - monitors often default to 60Hz out of the box. The ports on this panel are listed under Specifications above.
What sort of panel is it?
It is IPS with a 1ms GtG response time. Panel type is the main thing that decides how a monitor looks off-centre and how it handles colour and contrast, so it is worth weighing against refresh rate rather than choosing on the headline number alone.
Can I wall-mount it or put it on an arm?
This is a 23.8 inch panel. Whether it takes a VESA mount, and at which spacing, is listed under Specifications - if a VESA size is shown there, any arm or bracket rated for that pattern and the monitor’s weight will fit. If you are not sure, send us the model of your arm and we will check.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is free on every order. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R150 - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
