What it is for
The Keychron KJ4 is a tenkeyless wireless keyboard for players and typists who want a compact board that can move between machines. Tri-mode connectivity means one keyboard covers a gaming PC over the 2.4GHz receiver, a laptop or tablet over Bluetooth, and a wired Type-C link when you want the cable. The 80% layout drops the numpad but keeps the function row and arrow cluster, which frees desk space for wide mouse sweeps. Hot-swappable sockets let you change the Banana switches later without soldering, using the included puller.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
It suits gamers who want one board for work and play, and anyone who likes the option of experimenting with switches. At 870g and 36.5 x 13.7 x 3.7 cm it is a solid desk keyboard rather than a travel board. If you enter a lot of numbers, a full-size board with a numpad will serve you better. The layout is ANSI, so the Enter key and left Shift differ from UK ISO boards. Keychron does not list a polling rate for this model, so buyers chasing 8000Hz should look at the brand’s 8K range instead.

Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
