• 327 x 132 x 56 mm card.

• 3 x DisplayPort 2.1b and 1 x HDMI 2.1b.

The 1440p sweet spot

The RTX 5070 is the card most 1440p gamers should look at first, and the GAMING OC is GIGABYTE's higher-clocked, better-equipped version. 12GB of GDDR7 on a 192-bit bus gives more room than the 8GB cards below it, and DLSS 4 with frame generation helps in demanding ray-traced titles. It also handles 4K in lighter games with DLSS. If you mainly play esports titles at 1080p, an RTX 5060 Ti will be cheaper and nearly as satisfying; if you want 4K at high settings, look at the 5070 Ti.

Fitting and powering it

At 327mm long and 56mm thick, this card suits most mid-tower ATX cases but will be tight in compact ones, so check GPU clearance. GIGABYTE recommends a 750W PSU. The card has one 16-pin 12V-2x6 connector, and a 12V-2x6 to 2x PCIe 8-pin adapter is included for power supplies without a native cable. Dual BIOS lets you switch between Performance and Silent modes, and a power indicator flashes if the card detects a power supply problem. The Versatile VGA holder in the box helps against sag.

FEATURES:

• WINDFORCE cooling with Hawk fans, alternate spinning and 3D Active Fan semi-passive mode.
• Dual BIOS with Performance (default) and Silent modes.
• RGB Halo three-ring lighting, syncable through GIGABYTE Control Center.
• Reinforced metal backplate with a bent edge fastened to the I/O bracket.
• Power indicator that flashes to warn of power supply abnormalities.
