The 16GB RTX 5060 Ti: double the memory of the 8GB versions for 1440p and longer life
Quick Specs
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 4608 CUDA cores, boosting to 2647 MHz.
- 16GB GDDR7 at 28 Gbps on a 128-bit bus.
- 281 x 119 x 40 mm card.
- 650W recommended PSU, one 8-pin power connector.
- 3 x DisplayPort 2.1b and 1 x HDMI 2.1b.
Why the 16GB version matters
The RTX 5060 Ti comes in 8GB and 16GB versions with the same GPU, and the 16GB card is the one we recommend for most buyers. Newer games at high texture settings can exceed 8GB, causing stutter, and the extra memory also helps with 1440p, video editing and local AI tools. This GAMING OC version runs a 2647 MHz boost and adds dual BIOS, RGB lighting and a metal backplate. It suits 1080p at maximum settings and 1440p at high settings with DLSS 4.
Easy to power, medium to fit
Power needs are modest for the performance: a single 8-pin connector and a 650W recommended PSU, so most mid-range builds can take it without a new supply. At 281mm long and 40mm thick, it fits most mid-tower cases but may be tight in compact ones. Note the 128-bit memory bus is narrower than the RTX 5070's 192-bit, so for high-refresh 1440p in demanding titles the RTX 5070 is the faster card. For value, though, this is a strong choice.
FEATURES:
- 16GB GDDR7 for high texture settings and longer usable life.
- Dual BIOS with Performance and Silent modes.
- RGB lighting with 16.7M colour options through GIGABYTE Control Center.
- WINDFORCE cooling with Hawk fans, 3D Active Fan and server-grade thermal gel.
- Reinforced metal backplate and power indicator for PSU faults.
