Tighter CL36 timings on GeIL's 32GB DDR5-6000 gaming kit, in grey.
Quick Specs
- 32GB dual-channel kit (2x16GB matched modules)
- 6000MHz rated speed with XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles
- CL36 CAS latency, Hynix C-die revision
- 1.1V DDR5 nominal, typically 1.35-1.40V under the rated profile
- Grey aluminium heat spreader with addressable RGB diffuser bar
The specification that actually matters
32GB of DDR5 at 6000MHz is the right target for a current gaming build on AM5 or Intel LGA1700/LGA1851, and at that clock the CAS latency is the remaining variable worth caring about. This kit runs CL36 rather than the CL38 of GeIL's cheaper Gemini kits, which means the memory answers in fewer cycles and real access latency drops a few percent. In practice that shows up in 1% lows and frame pacing rather than in average framerate. The grey anodised spreader keeps the look understated while the addressable RGB bar handles the lighting, syncing with the major motherboard ecosystems.
Should you pay for CL36?
Only if the premium is modest. Going from CL38 to CL36 at the same 6000MHz is about a 5% cut in raw latency, which typically means low single-digit gains in CPU-bound titles and nothing measurable when your graphics card is the bottleneck. If the CL38 grey kit is significantly cheaper, take it and put the saving toward a better GPU — that will move your framerate far more. Buy this kit when the gap is small, or when you play competitive shooters where frame consistency matters. Also verify air-cooler clearance; the RGB bar makes these taller than bare modules.
FEATURES:
- CL36 timings at 6000MHz for lower real latency than CL38 kits
- Matched, factory-tested pair for reliable dual-channel operation
- Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO profiles on the same modules
- Addressable RGB bar, syncable with major motherboard lighting software
- Grey anodised aluminium spreader for passive heat dissipation

Why GeIL?
GeIL has been building enthusiast memory since 1993, and the CL36 Gemini kits sit at the better-binned end of its mainstream gaming range. Every GeIL kit from AZonline is genuine stock carrying a Limited Lifetime warranty.
Platform and BIOS note: DDR5 requires an AM5 or Intel LGA1700/LGA1851 motherboard; DDR5 and DDR4 are not interchangeable and the notch physically differs. Out of the box this kit runs at the JEDEC base speed of DDR5-4800 — enable the XMP or EXPO profile in BIOS to reach the rated 6000MHz CL36. Check your motherboard's QVL before purchase.
