What it is for
This cable connects a 12VHPWR graphics card, such as an RTX 40 series card, to a Cooler Master modular power supply using three of its 8-pin outputs, so you do not need an ATX 3.0 PSU. The 90-degree head lets the cable exit sideways, which helps in narrower cases where a straight plug would press against the glass and stress the connector. It is not a universal cable: Cooler Master makes Type 1 and Type 2 versions for different PSU models, and this is Type 2. Check the compatibility chart for your exact PSU before buying.
Safe use
Cooler Master advises not to use it with non-standard cables or chain it with other adapters such as 8-pin to 6+2-pin or SATA adapters, and to keep it away from heat sources. For PSU sizing, it suggests the GPU's official TDP plus 100-150W, or an ATX 3.0 power supply. Seat the 12VHPWR plug fully and use the included cable clips to keep the leads tidy.

Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
