A strong base for a new AM5 build

This bundle gives you the motherboard and CPU cooler for a Ryzen 7000, 8000 or 9000 build; add the processor, DDR5 memory, storage, case and power supply. The TUF Gaming B850M-PLUS WIFI is a Micro-ATX board with a PCIe 5.0 x16 graphics slot and a PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot when used with Ryzen 9000 or 7000 chips, plus Wi-Fi 6E, 2.5Gb LAN and a 20Gbps rear USB-C port. It suits gamers and creators who want room to grow. Ryzen 8000 chips run these slots at PCIe 4.0 instead, so check which CPU you pair with it.

Cooler fit and what to check

The Prime LC 240 ARGB is an all-in-one liquid cooler with a copper contact plate, infinity-mirror ARGB lighting and two pre-installed 120mm fans running 600-2200 RPM. Your case needs a 240mm radiator mount; the radiator measures 27.7 x 12 x 2.7 cm before fans, and the tubes are 40 cm. The board is DDR5 only, so older DDR4 memory will not work. A BIOS FlashBack button on the rear lets you update firmware without a CPU installed, which helps when pairing a newer Ryzen chip. Micro-ATX means fewer expansion slots than full ATX.

Before you buy

Will it drop into my existing PC?
The board in this kit is AM5. You reuse your case, power supply, graphics card and drives, and swap the motherboard, processor and memory together. Two things to check first: that your case takes the board’s size, and that your power supply is still adequate for the rest of the system. Send us your current parts list and we will confirm before you order.
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is free on every order. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R150 - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
