A proper gaming mouse for a first build
The G102 LIGHTSYNC is the mouse we suggest to anyone putting together a first gaming PC on a tight budget. The shape is a straightforward, comfortable design that suits most hand sizes and grips, with two side buttons for push-to-talk or weapon swaps. The sensor adjusts from 200 to 8,000 DPI, so you can set a low sensitivity for shooters or a higher one for a big monitor. LIGHTSYNC RGB covers about 16.8 million colours and can sync with other Logitech G gear, and G HUB lets you remap buttons and save DPI settings. Being wired, there's no battery to charge and nothing to pair.
Where the money goes, and where it doesn't
At this price you get a basic sensor rather than Logitech's HERO sensors, which is fine for casual and mid-level play but not what competitive players use. The cable is a standard rubber one, so it drags more than a paracord or wireless mouse; a mouse bungee helps. It's right-handed in practice, with side buttons on the left only. If you want to go wireless without spending much more, the G305 is the step up. This mouse is sold as the G203 LIGHTSYNC in some regions; the hardware is the same.
