32GB of GDDR7 on a 512-bit bus and 21760 CUDA cores: the fastest GeForce card available
Quick Specs
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with 21760 CUDA cores, boosting to 2550 MHz.
- 32GB GDDR7 at 28 Gbps on a 512-bit bus.
- 342 x 152 x 70 mm: a very large card.
- 1000W recommended PSU, one 16-pin (12V-2x6) connector.
- 3 x DisplayPort 2.1b and 1 x HDMI 2.1b.
For 4K, high refresh and heavy creative work
The RTX 5090 is NVIDIA's top GeForce GPU, and this GAMING OC version boosts to 2550 MHz against the 2407 MHz reference. It is aimed at 4K gaming at maximum settings with path tracing, high-refresh 4K monitors, and creators or AI developers who need 32GB of memory for large models, 3D scenes and 8K video. For 1440p gaming it is far more than necessary; an RTX 5070 Ti or 5080 will give a better return on the money unless you need the memory.
Power and case requirements are serious
GIGABYTE recommends a 1000W power supply, and a quality ATX 3.x unit with a native 12V-2x6 cable is the best match. A 12V-2x6 to 4x PCIe 8-pin adapter is included, which means older supplies need four free 8-pin leads. The card measures 342mm long, 152mm tall and 70mm thick, so plan for a large case with strong airflow, as it releases a lot of heat into the chassis. The Versatile VGA holder supplied helps with the weight, and the power indicator warns of PSU faults.
FEATURES:
- Large vapour chamber and composite copper heat pipes in the WINDFORCE cooler.
- Dual BIOS with Performance (default) and Silent modes.
- RGB Halo three-ring lighting through GIGABYTE Control Center.
- Reinforced metal backplate with a bent edge fastened to the I/O bracket.
- Power indicator that flashes to warn of power supply abnormalities.

Questions
Before you buy
Is it in stock, and when will it ship?
This one is out of stock at the moment. Stock does come back in - WhatsApp us on 079 491 0181 with the model and we will tell you what the supplier is showing and let you know when it lands, rather than leaving you to keep checking the page.
What does delivery cost, and how long does it take?
We deliver by courier anywhere in South Africa, and delivery is R180 on orders under R2 500 and free on orders of R2 500 or more. It takes 1-3 working days to Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban and areas within 100km of them, and 2-4 working days to areas more than 100km from a major centre, counted from the day the order is dispatched. Need it sooner? Express delivery is 1-2 working days for R210, or R150 on orders of R2 500 or more - choose it at checkout. We do not ship outside South Africa.
Can I collect instead of having it delivered?
Yes. Collection is from 11 Voortrekker Avenue, Edenvale, Gauteng, by arrangement - message us first so we can have the order picked and waiting. We are open 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.
What warranty does it carry, and how do I claim?
The warranty period for this product is listed at the end of the Specifications section above. Claims go through us, not the manufacturer - contact us with your order number and a description of the fault and we will handle it from there. Separately from any warranty, the Consumer Protection Act gives you six months from delivery to return goods that are defective, unsafe or not fit for their intended purpose.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind - longer than the seven days the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act requires. The item needs to be unused and in its original packaging, and we pay the return shipping. Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 30 days of the return reaching us.
How can I pay?
Payments are processed by Stitch. At the last step of checkout you are taken to Stitch’s secure page to pay, and brought back here once it is done. Your card details are entered on Stitch’s secure, PCI-compliant page and never touch our systems.
