Built for big hardware and heavy cooling

The MasterFrame 600 is part of Cooler Master's FreeForm 2.0 platform: the frame is exposed, the panels are interchangeable and the design files are open-source. In practice it means a case that takes almost anything: 190mm tower coolers, 485mm graphics cards, PSUs up to 235mm and eight expansion slots. Fan and radiator mounts on the front, top and side let you run up to eleven fans or multiple 360mm and 420mm radiators for a custom loop. It suits enthusiasts with high-end GPUs and dual-radiator plans. If you are building a compact mid-range rig, a smaller and cheaper case will serve you better.

Silver vs black, and what to know

This silver version ships with four SickleFlow ARGB fans and a tempered glass right-side panel with an aluminium left panel; the black MF600-KGNN-S00 is fitted with Mobius fans instead. An ARGB PWM hub and GPU support bracket are included to tame wiring and sag. Cable space behind the tray is 43mm, which is comfortable rather than huge. E-ATX and SSI-CEB support is conditional, so check board dimensions before buying for a workstation board. Top radiators reach 420mm only if the I/O module is moved to the front panel. Storage is limited to two 2.5"/3.5" combo bays and three 2.5" mounts.
