A standalone pad gives both back: you keep the small main board in front of you, and the pad sits wherever you want it, including on the left if you are right-handed and would rather not reach across the mouse. Because it is wireless, it can live in a drawer for the three days a month you actually need it. If your main board already has a numpad, you do not need this.

Mechanical switches on a number pad

Dragon Chant switches are linear, so keys press straight down without a bump. On a numpad that matters more than it sounds: entering long strings of figures rewards consistent, light actuation and punishes the mushy bottom-out of a membrane pad. The calculator display is the other practical touch, letting you run sums on the pad itself rather than opening an app. It is a small unit and it charges over USB-C, so the same cable that charges your phone will do.

FEATURES:

22 mechanical keys with linear Dragon Chant switches

Built-in calculator display for quick sums without opening software

Wired, 2.4GHz and Bluetooth modes for desktops, laptops and tablets

Position it either side of your keyboard to suit your mouse hand

RGB backlighting with multiple colour and effect options

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: Redragon K733 Cove (RD-K733-RGB-WL)

Layout: 22-key numpad

Switches: Linear Dragon Chant mechanical

Connectivity: USB Type-C wired, 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth

Display: Built-in calculator

Backlighting: Customisable RGB

Warranty: 18 months

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

Redragon K733 Cove RGB Wireless Mechanical Numpad

Detachable Type-C cable

User manual

Why Redragon?

Redragon fills in the accessories most brands ignore, so a compact keyboard does not have to mean giving up the number block entirely.
