The step up from a bundled office mouse is immediate: a 1000Hz polling rate instead of the usual 125Hz, a sensor that keeps tracking when you flick rather than spinning out, and five DPI steps you can cycle mid-match. For a shooter you might sit at 800 for steady aim, then jump to 2400 for a MOBA where you are clicking constantly. It is a wired mouse, which at this price is a feature rather than a limitation — no battery, no charging, no latency to argue about.

Set the weight before you set the DPI

The eight tuning weights are the part worth spending time on. Most people discover they prefer a mouse noticeably lighter or heavier than stock, and being able to test that for free beats guessing on your next purchase. Add weight if your aim overshoots and you want more resistance; strip it out if long sessions leave your wrist tired. The two on-board memory profiles mean your DPI steps and macros travel with the mouse, so a LAN machine behaves the same as your own. Six programmable buttons cover a push-to-talk key and a couple of macros without crowding your thumb.

FEATURES:

Up to 7200 DPI with on-the-fly switching

RGB backlighting

8 tuning weights included

Software for macro recording

6 programmable buttons

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: Redragon M601-RGB Centrophorus 2

Connection: Wired USB

Buttons: 6 programmable

DPI settings: 800 / 1200 / 1600 / 2400 / 7200

Polling rate: 1000Hz

Acceleration: 10G

Memory modes: 2

Tuning weights: 8

Lighting: RGB backlighting

Warranty: 18 months

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

Redragon Centrophorus 2 M601 RGB Gaming Mouse x1

Tuning weight set x8

User manual x1

Why Redragon?

Redragon builds gaming peripherals that hit the specifications competitive players actually use, at prices that leave budget for the rest of the build.
