Where the 7800X3D in the MAXIMUS traded clock speed for cache, the 9800X3D gives you both — 4.7GHz base rising to 5.2GHz with the cache stack intact. If you want the highest frame rates available from a prebuilt, this is the processor that delivers them.

What else is notable

The storage is the other standout: a Gen5 NVMe drive at 11,000MB/s read and 9,500MB/s write, roughly 50% faster than the Gen4 drives in every other machine here. The board is a 4-slot MSI B650 in MSI's MAG PANO M100R PZ chassis, which uses a panoramic tempered glass wrap rather than a single flat side panel. The power supply is 750W 80+ Bronze and non-modular — the one place this build economises.

FEATURES:

Eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D with 3D V-Cache, boost up to 5.2GHz

GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7, boost 2497MHz, 28Gbps memory

1TB Gen5 NVMe SSD — 11,000MB/s read, 9,500MB/s write

32GB of DDR5 6000MHz gaming memory on a 4-slot board

360mm AIO liquid cooler, 3x 120mm fans

MSI MAG PANO M100R PZ ARGB chassis with panoramic tempered glass

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: PCBuilder Ryzen 7 9800X3D VALKYRIE Windows 11 Gaming PC

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D — 8 cores, 16 threads, 4.7GHz base, boost up to 5.2GHz

Motherboard: MSI B650 chipset, AM5, mATX, 4 DIMM slots

Memory: 32GB DDR5 6000MHz (16GB x 2)

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7, boost 2497MHz, 28Gbps

Storage: 1TB Gen5 NVMe SSD — read 11,000MB/s, write 9,500MB/s

Cooling: 360mm AIO liquid cooler, 3x 120mm fans

Power supply: 750W 80+ Bronze, non-modular, ATX 12V

Chassis: MSI MAG PANO M100R PZ mATX ARGB mid tower, tempered glass, 1x USB 3.0 / 1x USB Type-C / HD audio

Networking: Gigabit LAN, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz / 5GHz

Operating system: Microsoft Windows 11 Home, plus 1 month PC Game Pass

Dimensions: 55.2 x 27 x 45.6 cm

Warranty: 2 years

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

PCBuilder Ryzen 7 9800X3D VALKYRIE Windows 11 Gaming PC x1

PCBuilder welcome guide x1

In-transit protective foam pack x1

1.8m power cable x1

Why PCBuilder?

PCBuilder machines are assembled and tested in-house before they ship, and packed in moulded foam so nothing shakes loose in transit.
