Paired with an RTX 5070 Ti carrying 16GB of GDDR7, this is a machine that games at 4K and also gets through video renders, code compiles and heavy streaming without complaint. It is the all-rounder of the high-end builds.

How it compares to the MAXIMUS

For gaming alone the 7800X3D in the MAXIMUS is the faster chip despite its lower clocks, because 3D V-Cache beats raw frequency in games — and it costs R6 000 less. Buy the VALOUR when the machine has a job to do besides gaming, or when you specifically want NVIDIA's DLSS 4 and ray-tracing performance. It also has the best networking here: Wi-Fi 6E on the 6GHz band.

FEATURES:

Eight-core AMD Ryzen 7 9700X (Zen 5) with a boost clock up to 5.5GHz

GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7, 28Gbps memory

32GB of DDR5 6000MHz gaming memory on a 4-slot Asus B850 ATX board

750W 80+ Gold fully modular power supply

360mm ARGB AIO liquid cooler with 3x 120mm PWM fans and an aluminium radiator

Gigabit LAN plus Wi-Fi on 2.4GHz / 5GHz / 6GHz

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: PCBuilder Ryzen 7 9700X VALOUR Windows 11 Gaming PC

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X — 8 cores, 16 threads, 3.8GHz base, boost up to 5.5GHz

Motherboard: Asus B850 chipset, AM5, ATX, 4 DIMM slots

Memory: 32GB DDR5 6000MHz (16GB x 2)

Graphics: GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7, 28Gbps

Storage: 1TB Gen4 NVMe SSD — read 7,100MB/s, write 6,000MB/s

Cooling: 360mm ARGB AIO liquid cooler, 3x 120mm PWM fans, aluminium radiator

Power supply: 750W 80+ Gold, modular, ATX 12V

Chassis: PCBuilder LOOKOUT ATX mid tower, tempered glass, 2x USB 3.0 / 1x Type-C / HD audio

Networking: Gigabit LAN, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz / 5GHz / 6GHz

Operating system: Microsoft Windows 11 Home, plus 1 month PC Game Pass

Dimensions: 46.1 x 23.5 x 50.5 cm

Warranty: 2 years

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

PCBuilder Ryzen 7 9700X VALOUR Windows 11 Gaming PC x1

PCBuilder welcome guide x1

In-transit protective foam pack x1

1.8m power cable x1

Why PCBuilder?

PCBuilder machines are assembled and tested in-house before they ship, and packed in moulded foam so nothing shakes loose in transit.
