At 850W you can run a 300W to 350W graphics card next to an eight-core CPU and still sit around half load, which is where efficiency peaks and where the fan has the least work to do. If your card is a 5070-class part or below, the 750W model does the same job for less money. Step up to this one if you are running a 5070 Ti or 5080, or if you plan to upgrade the GPU before the PSU.

Compact for its class

850W units are often 160mm or 170mm deep. This one is 140mm, which leaves usable space behind it in a mid-tower for the cable bundle instead of forcing it into a tight fold. The fully modular set includes a sleeved 700mm 12V-2x6 cable, two CPU cables so dual-EPS boards are covered, and separate SATA and Molex runs. Protections are OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, SCP, UVP, SIP and NLO.

FEATURES:

Native PCIe 5.1 12V-2x6 connector for current GPUs

Complies with ATX 12V V3.1 and EPS 12V V2.92

Two CPU cables for dual-EPS motherboards

Compact 140mm depth

120mm hydraulic bearing fan

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: VITA-850GM

Rated output: 850W

Form factor: ATX

Efficiency: 80 PLUS Gold, Cybenetics Gold, Lambda A

Standards: ATX 12V V3.1, EPS 12V V2.92, PCIe Gen 5.1

Cabling: fully modular

Fan: 120mm hydraulic bearing (HYB)

Dimensions: 140 x 150 x 86mm

Connectors: 1x MB 20+4 pin (600mm), 2x CPU 4+4 pin (700mm), 1x PCIe 12V-2x6 sleeved (700mm), 2x PCIe 6+2 pin cables, 1x SATA cable with 4 connectors, 2x Molex/SATA cables

Protections: OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP, SCP, UVP, SIP, NLO

Warranty: 10 Year

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

FSP VITA GM 850W power supply

Modular cable set including 12V-2x6 cable

AC power cable

Mounting screws

User manual

Why FSP?

FSP is one of the few PSU brands that designs and manufactures its own platforms, which is why the VITA GM undercuts comparable Gold units without cutting the protection list.
