Its short tension-adjustable arm reaches 216mm out and 411mm up, rotates 275 degrees and the head turns a full 360, which gets a mic closer to your mouth than a fixed stand can. It holds up to 1kg, enough for most USB and XLR microphones, and the included adapters cover 1/4", 3/8" and 5/8" threads. It also takes compact cameras, webcams, lights and phones.

When a full arm is better

The reach is modest. If you want the mic floating in front of you from the side of the desk, or out of camera shot, a clamp-mounted boom like the Wave Mic Arm LP or Pro has far more range. Heavy broadcast mics with shock mounts can approach the 1kg limit, so check the combined weight. The base takes up desk space that a clamp-on arm wouldn't. Four silicone ties keep the cable tidy along the arm.

FEATURES:

Weighted base counterbalances up to 1kg without tipping

Tension-adjustable arm for balance and smooth movement

Compact enough for desks or coffee tables

Mounts mics, compact cameras, webcams, lights and smartphones

Solid-metal construction with thread adapters included

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: Elgato Wave Desk Stand (10AAU9901)

Mounting type: Weighted base

Max load: 1.0kg

Horizontal reach: 216mm

Vertical reach: 411mm

Arm rotation: 275°

Head rotation: 360°

Thread mount: 1/4"

Thread adapters: 1/4" to 3/8", 1/4" to 5/8"

Arm mechanism: Tension-adjustable

Cable management: 4 silicone ties

Weight: 1.88kg (without accessories)

Compatibility: USB and XLR microphones

Colour: Black

Warranty: Elgato limited warranty

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

Wave Desk Stand

4x cable ties

1/4"-to-3/8" adapter

1/4"-to-5/8" adapter

Hex key

Quick Start Guide

Why Elgato?

Elgato designs its Wave mounts alongside its microphones and Stream Deck gear, so a desk setup fits together cleanly.
