The fans clip together and connect to the hub with a single cable that carries power, speed control and lighting, and iCUE recognises each one automatically. Each fan has a built-in temperature sensor and its own microcontroller. Two 140mm fans suit a 280mm AIO or a front panel with two 140mm mounts, and they'll generally run slower and quieter than three 120mm fans for similar airflow. Check that your case supports 140mm fans where you plan to fit them.

Expanding and trade-offs

Need more fans later? QX140 expansion kits add single fans to the same hub. Zero RPM mode lets the fans stop at low loads, and at 37 dBA maximum they're best run on an iCUE curve rather than flat out. The trade-off with any LINK product is that it only works through LINK hubs and iCUE software, not standard motherboard fan or ARGB headers. If you're happy using motherboard control, the RS140 ARGB is a simpler and cheaper option.

FEATURES:

iCUE LINK System Hub included, with automatic component detection

Single-cable connection for power, control and lighting

Built-in temperature sensor and MCU in each fan

34 RGB LEDs per fan with Time Warp lighting mode

Magnetic dome bearing, PWM control and Zero RPM mode

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: CORSAIR iCUE LINK QX140 RGB Starter Kit Black (CO-9051004-WW)

Size: 140mm x 25mm

Quantity: 2 fans + iCUE LINK System Hub

Control: PWM via iCUE LINK, Zero RPM mode

Speed: 400 - 2,000 RPM

Airflow: 12.1 - 82.5 CFM

Static pressure: 0.19 - 3.5 mm-H2O

Noise: 10 - 37 dBA

Bearing: Magnetic dome

Current: 1.02A

Lighting: RGB, 34 LEDs per fan

Sensors: Built-in temperature sensor per fan

Colour: Black

Warranty: 5 Year

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

2x CORSAIR iCUE LINK QX140 RGB fans

2x iCUE LINK connectors (pre-mounted)

1x iCUE LINK System Hub

1x iCUE LINK cable

Why Corsair?

Corsair's iCUE LINK ecosystem connects fans, coolers and hubs with one cable type and manages them in a single app. The QX140 RGB starter kit is backed by Corsair's 5 year warranty.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0766/9055/5074/files/iCUE_LINK_QX140_RGB_BLACK_DUAL_Artboard01_AA.jpg?v=1791961618
