The USB transmitter gives a low-latency 2.4GHz link to a PC, PS4 or PS5, and a button press switches to Bluetooth so you can take a call or listen to music on your phone. Battery life is rated at up to 24 hours on 2.4GHz and up to 37 on Bluetooth, and 15 minutes of charging gives about six hours of use. It weighs 275g with an aluminium-reinforced frame, and the omni-directional mic mutes when flipped up. On PC, iCUE adds Dolby Audio 7.1 and SoundID, which builds a personalised sound profile from a short listening test.

Where it falls short

There's no lighting, and the microphone isn't detachable, so it looks like a gaming headset when you're out and about. Surround sound only works through iCUE on PC and Mac. Corsair lists PC, PS4 and PS5 for the 2.4GHz connection, not Xbox. If you only game at a desk and never use Bluetooth, the HS80 RGB WIRELESS offers higher-resolution wired USB audio and Dolby Atmos. If you want wired simplicity at a lower price, the HS55 SURROUND is the alternative.

FEATURES:

Low-latency 2.4GHz wireless with up to 50ft range, plus Bluetooth

Dolby Audio 7.1 surround on PC and Mac via iCUE

SoundID personalised audio profiles in iCUE

Up to 24 hours battery (37 on Bluetooth); 15-minute charge for 6 hours

Omni-directional mic with flip-to-mute, 275g metal-reinforced build

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: CORSAIR HS65 WIRELESS, Carbon (CA-9011285-AP2)

Connection: 2.4GHz USB wireless transmitter; Bluetooth

Wireless range: Up to 50ft

Battery life: Up to 24 hours (2.4GHz), up to 37 hours (Bluetooth)

Drivers: 50mm neodymium

Frequency response: 20Hz – 20kHz

Impedance: 32 Ohms @ 1kHz

Sensitivity: 114dB (±3dB)

Surround: Dolby Audio 7.1 (PC and Mac, via iCUE)

Microphone: Omni-directional, non-detachable

Mic frequency response: 100Hz – 10kHz

Mic sensitivity: -41dB (±2dB)

Mic impedance: 2.2k Ohms

Weight: 275g

Lighting: None

Compatibility: PC, PS4, PS5; Bluetooth devices

Colour: Carbon

Warranty: Corsair limited warranty

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

HS65 WIRELESS gaming headset

USB wireless transmitter

USB charging cable (1.8m)

Warranty card

Why Corsair?

Corsair pairs its headsets with iCUE, so EQ, surround and SoundID profiles all live in one app. The HS65 WIRELESS is backed by Corsair's limited manufacturer warranty.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0766/9055/5074/files/HS65-WIRELESS-Gaming-Headset-_-Carbon-0.png?v=1791960498
