Use the 2.4GHz dongle for low-latency play at 1000Hz, or switch to Bluetooth for a laptop without a free USB port. The shape is mid-sized and symmetrical, with two side buttons on the left and a DPI button with four levels. The PBT top cover and side buttons have an ionic-silver antibacterial treatment and can be wiped with alcohol, and 100% PTFE feet glide on any pad.

Batteries, weight and trade-offs

There is no built-in rechargeable battery. That is a trade-off: you buy batteries, but you never wait for a charge. An AA lasts up to 134 hours on 2.4GHz or 232 hours on Bluetooth; the lighter AAA with the converter gives 53 or 100 hours. With an AA fitted it weighs 86 g, with AAA 77 g. The side buttons are on the left only, so left-handed players lose them. If you want a rechargeable mouse or a higher-end sensor, look further up the ROG range.

FEATURES:

Dual wireless: 2.4GHz RF and Bluetooth 5.1

12,000 DPI optical sensor with 300 ips and 35g acceleration

Antibacterial, alcohol-safe PBT top cover and side buttons (ISO 22196 tested)

Works with AA or AAA batteries via the bundled converter

Six programmable buttons through Armoury Crate

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: ASUS TUF Gaming M4 Wireless P306 (90MP02F0-BMUA00)

Connectivity: RF 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.1

Sensor: 3311 optical

Resolution: 12,000 DPI

Max speed: 300 ips

Max acceleration: 35g

Polling rate: 1000Hz (USB)

Switches: 60 million clicks

Buttons: 6

Battery: 1 x AA or 1 x AAA

Battery life (AA): 134 hrs RF 2.4GHz, 232 hrs Bluetooth

Battery life (AAA): 53 hrs RF 2.4GHz, 100 hrs Bluetooth

Dimensions: 126 x 63.5 x 39.6 mm

Weight: 62 g (no battery or dongle), 77 g (AAA with converter), 86 g (AA)

Colour: Black

OS: Windows 10, Windows 11

Software: Armoury Crate

Warranty: ASUS limited warranty (warranty card included)

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

1 x TUF Gaming M4 Wireless mouse

1 x USB wireless dongle

1 x AA battery

1 x AAA battery

1 x AAA-to-AA battery converter holder

Quick start guide and warranty card

Why ASUS?

ASUS's TUF Gaming line focuses on durability and value, and the M4 Wireless brings dual-mode wireless and antibacterial coatings to a budget mouse.
