The result is a card that runs cool and quiet under load, with fans that switch off below 55°C. It is aimed at 1080p, where it handles current games at high settings. This is the 8GB version: some new titles already exceed 8GB with high textures, so if you want 1440p or a long-term card, look at the 16GB Prime RX 9060 XT instead.

Check your case length

The trade-off for the bigger cooler is size. At 304 x 126 x 50 mm it needs a case with at least 304mm of GPU clearance, and it is 2.5 slots thick. If your case is compact, the 202mm Dual RX 9060 XT is the better fit. Power is simple: a single standard 8-pin PCIe lead and a 550W recommended PSU, so no 16-pin adapter is needed. Outputs are 1 x HDMI 2.1b and 2 x DisplayPort 2.1a, so it drives up to three displays.

FEATURES:

Three Axial-tech fans with longer blades and a barrier ring for more downward airflow.

MaxContact heat spreader with 5% more contact surface, rated by ASUS for up to 2°C lower temperatures.

0dB technology: fans stop below 55°C and restart above 60°C.

Dual BIOS switch for Performance or Quiet fan profiles.

Vented backplate, GPU Guard corner adhesive and a 304 stainless steel bracket.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: PRIME-RX9060XT-O8G (90YV0MI0-M0NA00)

Graphics Engine: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT

Bus Standard: PCI Express 5.0

OpenGL: OpenGL 4.6

Video Memory: 8GB GDDR6

Engine Clock: OC mode (GPU Tweak III) up to 3330 MHz Boost / up to 2760 MHz Game; Default mode up to 3310 MHz Boost / up to 2740 MHz Game

Stream Processors: 2048

Memory Speed: 20 Gbps

Memory Interface: 128-bit

Resolution: Digital Max Resolution 7680 x 4320

Interface: 1 x Native HDMI 2.1b, 2 x Native DisplayPort 2.1a

HDCP Support: Yes (2.3)

Maximum Display Support: 3

NVLink/CrossFire Support: No

Recommended PSU: 550W

Power Connectors: 1 x 8-pin

Slot: 2.5 Slot

Dimensions: 304 x 126 x 50 mm

Software: ASUS GPU Tweak III and drivers (download from ASUS support site)

Warranty: ASUS limited warranty

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB GDDR6 OC Edition graphics card x1

Speedsetup Manual x1

Thank You Card x1

Why ASUS?

ASUS Prime cards get MaxContact cooling, dual-ball fan bearings and GPU Guard reinforcement usually saved for pricier models, built with Auto-Extreme automated manufacturing.
