amd-ryzen-5-7600x-6-core-4-7ghz-am5-cpu
AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core 4.7GHz AM5 CPU

A 4.7GHz base clock, 32MB of L3 and PCIe 5.0, the full-fat six-core Zen 4 chip for an AM5 gaming build.

Quick Specs

6 cores / 12 threads, 4.7GHz base, up to 5.3GHz boost

38MB total cache (6MB L2 + 32MB L3)

105W TDP, AM5 socket, DDR5

PCIe 5.0, AMD Radeon Graphics (2 cores, 2200MHz)

Unlocked; no cooler included

Built for high frame rate gaming

The 7600X runs at 4.7GHz before it even boosts, which is why it holds up so well in games where single-thread speed matters most. Its 32MB of L3 cache and PCIe 5.0 support put it a step above the cheaper Ryzen 8000-series parts, which have half the L3 and PCIe 4.0. The small Radeon iGPU is there for display output and troubleshooting, so the PC still works if your graphics card is out for repair. AM5 also gives you a socket with a long upgrade path to later Ryzen generations.

Budget for a good cooler

There is no cooler in the box, and AMD recommends a premium air cooler for full performance. At 105W TDP it runs hotter than the 65W Ryzen 5 7600, which offers similar gaming performance with a cooler included, so if you do not plan to tune or overclock, compare the two on total cost. You will also need an AM5 motherboard and DDR5 memory; DDR4 is not supported. The integrated graphics are basic and not meant for gaming.

FEATURES:

4.7GHz base and up to 5.3GHz boost clock

32MB L3 cache for gaming performance

PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 support

Integrated Radeon graphics for display output

Unlocked, with Precision Boost Overdrive, Curve Optimizer and EXPO

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X (100-100000593WOF)

Architecture: Zen 4, TSMC 5nm (CPU) / 6nm (I/O die)

Cores / Threads: 6 / 12

Base Clock: 4.7 GHz

Max Boost Clock: Up to 5.3 GHz

L1 / L2 / L3 Cache: 384 KB / 6 MB / 32 MB

Default TDP: 105 W

Socket: AM5

Supported Chipsets: A620, B650, B650E, X670, X670E, B840, B850, X870, X870E

Memory: DDR5, dual channel, up to 128 GB (DDR5-5200 with 2 modules)

PCI Express: PCIe 5.0 (28 lanes total, 24 usable)

Integrated Graphics: AMD Radeon Graphics, 2 cores, 2200 MHz

Unlocked for Overclocking: Yes

Max Operating Temperature: 95°C

Bundled Cooler: Not included (premium air cooler recommended)

Warranty: 3 Year

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X processor

Documentation and case badge

Cooler sold separately

Why AMD?

AMD has committed AM5 to multiple processor generations, so the board and DDR5 bought now stay useful through future upgrades.
