Its 12cm fan stays below 800rpm until the PSU reaches about 60% load, so a typical system will keep it quiet most of the time. The body has 30% more ventilation area than earlier designs, and soft, flat black cables make routing easier. Input is 200-240V, which suits South African mains.

Know the Compromises

This is a value design built to the older ATX12V 2.4 standard. +12V capacity is 58A (696W), lower than Aerocool's AERO Bronze 750W at 62A, and the protection list (OPP, OVP, UVP, SCP) is shorter than on the AERO Bronze, SMART G1 or Premier G1 ranges. There is no 12V-2x6 connector for the latest graphics cards. If you are running a modest CPU and graphics card and want a low price, it does the job; for a high-end GPU, a SMART G1 is the safer choice.

FEATURES:

80 PLUS 230V EU Bronze certified, up to 88%+ efficiency

Silent 12cm black fan with optimised thermal fan speed control

Fan runs below 800rpm until 60% load at 25°C ambient

Ventilation area in the body increased by 30%

Soft, black, flat cables for easier installation

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: LUX 750W (ACPB-LD75AEC.13)

Form factor compatibility: All Intel form factors up to ATX12V Ver. 2.4

Rated output: 750W

AC input: 200-240VAC, 5A, 50-60Hz

DC output: +3.3V 20A, +5V 20A, +12V 58A (696W), -12V 0.3A (3.6W), +5VSB 2.5A (12.5W)

Max combined 3.3V/5V: 120W

Efficiency: 80 PLUS 230V EU Bronze, up to 88%+

PFC: Active PFC, >0.9

Fan: 12cm silent fan with thermal speed control

Protections: OPP, OVP, UVP, SCP

Cables: Soft, black, flat cables

Warranty: Aerocool limited manufacturer warranty

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

Aerocool LUX 750W power supply

AC power cord

Why Aerocool?

Aerocool is a Taiwanese hardware brand covering cases, cooling and power supplies, with a focus on sound engineering at accessible prices.
