Because the fan stays at its start-up speed below 800rpm until the PSU passes 60% load, a typical gaming system drawing 400-500W will keep it near silent. The body has 30% more ventilation area than earlier designs, and the 200-240V input suits South African mains.

What You Give Up at This Price

Be clear on the trade-offs. The LUX is built to the older ATX12V 2.4 standard, so it has no native 12V-2x6 (12VHPWR) connector for current high-end graphics cards; for an RTX 40 or 50-series flagship, Aerocool's ATX 3.1 Premier G1 1000W is the better match. Aerocool lists OPP, OVP, UVP and SCP protection, a shorter list than the ATX 3.1 models carry. If your build simply needs plenty of clean 12V capacity on PCIe 6+2-pin connectors, the LUX delivers it affordably.

FEATURES:

80 PLUS Gold certified for up to 90%+ efficiency

Silent 12cm black fan with optimised thermal fan speed control

Fan runs below 800rpm until 60% load at 25°C ambient

Ventilation area in the body increased by 30%

Soft, black, flat cables for easier cable management and installation

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: LUX 1000W (ACPG-LDK0AEC.11)

Form factor compatibility: All Intel form factors up to ATX12V Ver. 2.4

Rated output: 1000W

AC input: 200-240Vac, 6.5A, 47-63Hz

DC output: +3.3V 20A, +5V 20A, +12V 82A (984W), -12V 0.3A (3.6W), +5VSB 2.5A (12.5W)

Max combined 3.3V/5V: 130W

Efficiency: 80 PLUS Gold, up to 90%+

PFC: Active PFC, >0.9

Fan: Silent 12cm fan with thermal speed control

Protections: OPP, OVP, UVP, SCP

Cables: Soft, black, flat cables

Warranty: Aerocool limited manufacturer warranty

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

Aerocool LUX 1000W power supply

AC power cord

Why Aerocool?

Aerocool is a Taiwanese hardware brand covering cases, cooling and power supplies, with a focus on sound engineering at accessible prices.
