The 120mm fan is addressable RGB: run its 13 built-in effects from the LED button, or hold the button for three seconds to hand control to an ARGB motherboard header. Underneath, it uses Japanese 105°C main capacitors, DC-to-DC conversion for stable minor rails and dual CPU power connectors, which suit high-end Ryzen and Core boards. Full output is rated at 40°C ambient.

Is 650W Enough for You?

650W comfortably runs a mainstream gaming PC with a mid-range graphics card. If you are planning a high-end GPU with a 12V-2x6 (12VHPWR) connector, look at an ATX 3.1 unit such as the SMART G1 or Premier G1 instead, as the KCAS Plus Gold is built to ATX12V 2.52. Also check where your case mounts the PSU: if it sits fan-down under a solid shroud, you will not see the lighting, and the 750W and 850W versions add headroom for bigger cards.

FEATURES:

80 PLUS Gold certified for up to 92%+ efficiency

12cm ARGB fan with 13 preset effects, LED button or motherboard sync (16.8 million colours)

Fan holds start-up speed until about 60% load at 40°C ambient

DC-to-DC conversion for tight voltage regulation under heavy cross-loading

Black flat cables for easier cable management and airflow

SPECIFICATIONS:

Model: KCAS Plus Gold 650W (ACPG-KP65FEC.11)

Form factor compatibility: All Intel form factors up to ATX12V Ver. 2.52

Rated output: 650W

AC input: 100-240Vac, 10-5A, 47-63Hz

DC output: +3.3V 20A, +5V 20A, +12V 54A (648W), -12V 0.3A (3.6W), +5VSB 2.5A (12.5W)

Max combined 3.3V/5V: 120W

Efficiency: 80 PLUS Gold, up to 92%+

PFC: Active PFC, >0.9

Fan: 12cm high-pressure ARGB fan, 800-1800rpm, thermal speed control

Lighting: 13 preset effects via LED button; ARGB connector for motherboard sync

Capacitors: 105°C Japanese main capacitors; solid-state capacitors for DC output

CPU connectors: Dual CPU power connectors

Compliance: ErP 2013 Lot 6, RoHS, EMC

Warranty: Aerocool limited manufacturer warranty

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

Aerocool KCAS Plus Gold 650W power supply

AC power cord

Why Aerocool?

Aerocool is a Taiwanese hardware brand covering cases, cooling and power supplies, with a focus on sound engineering at accessible prices.
